Personal Financial AdvisorJason Butler
Since embarking on my career in the financial industry in 2000, I've been committed to ensuring that people not only reach retirement but also navigate through it safely. I'm driven by the ambition to run the best financial advisory firm in the country. My goal is to help clients make the most of their personal financial situations, maximizing their resources to strive for a comfortable and confident retirement.
After years in the corporate world, I craved more; I yearned to use my experience and knowledge to help others succeed. I've been fortunate enough to apply this wealth of experience to assist my clients, helping them avoid the pitfalls of industry noise. My role involves carefully sifting through their financial situations and implementing plans that mitigate tax consequences while seeking to maximize their hard-earned dollars. Often, I find myself handling a lifetime's worth of hard work and savings, and the trust placed in me by my clients is something I value deeply.
Originally from Quebec and born in Montreal, I'm a farm kid at heart, having grown up on a farm. This background has instilled in me a strong work ethic and a keen sense of practicality, both of which serve me well in my work. In my free time, I love to golf and travel, always keen to explore new places and experiences. Above all, spending time with friends and family is what truly matters to me, a reminder of the importance of the work I do in helping others preserve their futures.

My journey into financial advising began with a deep-rooted desire to help people. After a stint in mortgage writing, I realized I craved more than just transactional interactions - I wanted to build relationships. Becoming a financial advisor allowed me to connect with clients on a deeper level, understanding their joys, concerns, and unique perspectives on life.
I'm fascinated by the diversity of views my clients have on various topics, and understanding their beliefs is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work. Outside the office, my life is rich with family and hobbies. My wife Katie, our Golden Retriever Argo, and my close-knit family in St. Johns form my support system. They've always believed that this career is my calling, and their support means the world to me.
When I'm not helping clients or spending time with family, you'll find me indulging in my love for golf, exploring the woods with Argo, or keeping fit. Wrestling has been a significant part of my life - I was the number one recruit in the country coming out of high school and had the honor of representing the US at the JR World Wrestling Championship. Today, I continue my passion for the sport by coaching wrestling alongside my dad and brother. My wrestling journey, which includes a state championship at St. Johns High School and a college career at the University of Michigan, culminated in my induction into the 2012 Hall of Fame.
Operations ManagerAshley Harr
What I love most about my role in the financial sector is the customer service aspect - my focus is always on the clients. As a Registered Administrative Assistant, I hold Series 6 and 63 securities registrations through LPL Financial, along with a Health & Accident insurance license through the State of Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services.
I bring a blend of exceptional organizational and people skills to my role, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office. My job is to equip our Financial Advisors with the necessary tools and documents to make informed decisions daily. I take pride in providing exceptional customer service and using my experience to ensure our clients are well served.
When I step away from the office, my world revolves around family and hobbies. I enjoy watching my two sons play soccer, being a sports fan in general, and spending quality time with my family and friends. Gardening and cooking for friends and family also bring me joy, providing a perfect balance to my professional life.
Branch Operations SupportJohn Sirrine
My mission is to help people achieve the best financial outcomes that suit their unique needs. I bring to the table extensive tax and accounting skills from my former business, Sirrine and Associates, Inc., a local Tax and Accounting business I started in 1981 and added Investment services to in 1993. A moment in my journey that set me on my path was when a firm sought access to my tax clients. After observing their lack of knowledge and sales-driven approach, I was convinced I could provide a far superior service on my own.
With over 30 years of investment experience, I support all staff members with research, review, and execution in the management of client investments. Outside of work, my passions include golf, American History, and gardening. I'm also a proud resident of St. Johns, a community I deeply cherish.
I have been involved in many organizations over the years, as almost any organization wants an accountant. Since 2009, I have been heavily involved in our start-up community nonprofit, St. Johns Area Community Fund, with the goal, through grantmaking, to improve our entire community. I currently serve as Volunteer Executive Director working with a wonderfully talented group of our younger citizens.
Administrative AssistantTammy Butler
I graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Business Administration and have since accumulated 32 years of experience in the Financial Service industry and 7 years of experience with QuickBooks.
In my role, I manage Payroll/HR, Technology, Marketing, and Accounting, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. I also assist our Financial Advisors in their day-to-day activities, bringing a multi-faceted skill set to the team.
When I step away from the office, I enjoy golf, traveling, and baking. Whether it's perfecting my swing, exploring new destinations, or creating delicious treats, I believe in bringing the same passion and dedication to my hobbies as I do to my professional life.
